FiveSeasonStuff Amazon Ads API Privacy Notice
Amazon Ads API Privacy Notice
Effective date: July 24, 2026
Last updated: July 24, 2026
1. Purpose and scope
This notice describes how FiveSeasonStuff processes information through its private, internal connection to Login with Amazon, the Amazon Ads API, and, where enabled, the official Amazon Ads MCP Server (collectively, the “Amazon Advertising Integration”).
The Amazon Advertising Integration is used only by authorized FiveSeasonStuff personnel to access, analyze, and manage FiveSeasonStuff’s own Amazon advertising accounts. FiveSeasonStuff does not offer this integration as a service to other sellers or advertisers.
This integration is independent of FiveSeasonStuff’s Shopify store. It does not require Shopify to operate and does not access or transfer Shopify customer records, Shopify orders, shipping addresses, or payment information. Our separate customer-facing privacy policy is available at https://www.fiveseasonstuff.com/pages/privacy-policy .
2. Information processed
The Amazon Advertising Integration may process:
- Amazon advertising account and profile identifiers, marketplaces, currencies, and time zones;
- campaign, portfolio, ad group, advertisement, creative, keyword, product target, audience, placement, budget, bid, and status information;
- advertising reports and performance information, including impressions, clicks, spend, attributed orders, attributed sales, conversion metrics, and related aggregated reporting;
- authorization credentials, including access tokens and refresh tokens; and
- technical and audit logs needed to authenticate, secure, troubleshoot, and monitor the integration.
The integration is not designed to retrieve Amazon shopper names, shipping addresses, payment-card details, or other customer-level order information.
3. How information is used
FiveSeasonStuff uses the information to:
- authenticate and maintain the authorized Amazon connection;
- retrieve and archive advertising reports;
- measure campaign and product-advertising performance;
- create, review, pause, enable, or modify campaigns, budgets, bids, targeting, keywords, and other advertising settings;
- support internal advertising analysis and business planning;
- maintain financial, audit, and change-history records;
- troubleshoot technical issues and prevent unauthorized activity; and
- comply with applicable law and Amazon’s agreements and policies.
4. Authorized tools and service providers
FiveSeasonStuff may access the official Amazon Ads MCP Server through an authorized MCP client or AI service selected by FiveSeasonStuff, such as ChatGPT provided by OpenAI. Information submitted through that client may be processed by the client provider according to FiveSeasonStuff’s account settings and the provider’s applicable business terms and privacy notice.
We may also use infrastructure, database, backup, security, and technical service providers to operate the integration. These providers may process information only to provide services to FiveSeasonStuff or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and their agreements with us.
5. No sale or cross-seller use
FiveSeasonStuff does not sell Amazon advertising information. We do not disclose it to unrelated advertisers, use it to compare unrelated sellers, create cross-seller benchmarks, or provide competitive intelligence about other Amazon sellers.
6. Authorization, cancellation, and retention
Authorization credentials are confidential security information and are retained only while the connection remains authorized and needed. If the integration is cancelled or access is revoked, FiveSeasonStuff will stop collecting new information through that authorization and will delete, revoke, or securely disable the applicable credentials.
Previously collected advertising reports and campaign history may be retained for FiveSeasonStuff’s internal analytics, financial records, audit history, security, and business planning until no longer reasonably needed or until deletion is required by applicable law, our agreements with Amazon, or Amazon’s policies. Where appropriate, information may instead be aggregated or de-identified.
7. Security
FiveSeasonStuff uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the integration and its information. These measures may include access restrictions, authentication, encryption in transit, confidential handling of credentials, logging, backups, and limiting access to personnel with a business need.
No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. International processing
Information may be processed in locations where FiveSeasonStuff, Amazon, the selected MCP client, or supporting service providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
9. Access, revocation, and questions
An authorized FiveSeasonStuff representative may revoke the integration through the applicable Amazon account or authorization settings. For questions about this integration, its information, or a revocation request, contact privacy@fiveseasonstuff.com.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes to the Amazon Advertising Integration, our practices, applicable requirements, or Amazon’s services. We will publish the revised notice on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
